A Special Word About Divorce
We often receive inquiries about divorce and custody assistance and the stories are tragic. Please call the CARPLS hotline if you are in Cook County and Prairie State Legal Services outside of Cook County to find out if your situation is addressed by an agency. Individuals often end up representing themselves (pro se) in these matters, in which case Illinois Legal Aid Onlne can be very helpful. We do not represent individual clients, nor do we find attorneys for individuals.
